Special Master ServicesBruce A. Olson is available to serve as a federal court appointed Special Master under Fed.R.Civ.P. Rule 53, or as a state court Special Referee under applicable state statutes.  With almost 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer, and almost 15 years as a nationally recognized legal technologist, he is uniquely qualified to deal with discovery disputes concerning electronically stored information (ESI) that arise when attorneys and clients cannot arrive at an agreed upon plan.  Judges lacking expertise in this area can also benefit from his assistance.

Whether the dispute involves search terms, collection protocols, form of production, sampling of ESI,  determining cost allocation, or the investigation of spoliation of evidence, Mr. Olson has the depth of understanding and experience to be a fair and impartial arbiter of ESI disputes.

Mr. Olson can also be retained privately by parties to resolve eDiscovery disputes in mediation or arbitration.
